Interview Series: “Conversations”

One of my goals with this website has always been to provide a different view of the business world than most people might expect. I have done this by sharing my own life, educational, and career experiences and offering advice on any number of topics that affect the members of my reader community. Over the years, I have enjoyed the positive feedback from those who have benefited from my stories, but I have realized that I can only share my own perspective, which is limited to my own experiences. If I truly wanted to offer different views of business, then I would have to find a way to incorporate the perspectives of others in hopes of further inspiring the members to this site.

In response to this realization, I launched an interview series called “Conversations” in 2010, where I profile a collection of professionals with a variety of backgrounds, career paths, and interests. Like my written and video blog entries, I have tried to make these conversations completely laid-back and encourage the interview subjects to be as relaxed and real as possible. My aim is to make the audience feel as if they have really become acquainted with each featured professional after viewing each interview. Hopefully, each viewers walks away knowing that there is no “right way” to find success in the business world. It just takes focus, drive, and the willingness to do what is necessary to find that success. I hope that each of you enjoys watching these interviews as much as I enjoyed conducting them. My gratitude goes out to each of the people who have allowed me to feature them in this series.

Please feel free to contact me if you have any feedback or questions about any of the interviews below. Also, if you have suggestions for good people to profile in the future or if you would like to be profiled yourself, please let me know. I’m always interested in getting to know people with interesting stories and helping them to inspire others by sharing those stories with my readers.
