What’s good, folk. I don’t know if I’ve got my timing right, but I believe that the second round application deadline for Stanford GSB is right around the corner and, as y’all know, it’s a pretty difficult place to get into (I still don’t know how I did it). I recently came across a video from MBA Podcaster’s “Getting Into” series that provides a really good profile on the GSB and some tips from the founder of Accepted.com on how to structure an application to the GSB. I thought some of you might be interested in checking it out. I’m a big fan of MBA Podcaster because of the fantastic job they’re doing of providing much-needed information to the MBA applicant community (and I’m not just saying that because they featured me in one of their early podcasts a few years ago). Also, I’d like to give a shout out to my classmates Alex, Mareza, and Shan Lyn, who were featured in the video.

I’d like to wish you all the best of luck with your MBA applications, whether you are interested in Stanford GSB or not. By the way, you might want to start on your term deposits and savings accounts as soon as possible because living for two years without a salary is tough. Now would be the perfect time to start saving to help with all of those MBA-related expenses.
