Hello all. I hope you’re enjoying your Sunday and have had a nice weekend so far. I had planned to post this entry yesterday, but, with it being Valentine’s Day, I figured that no one would have seen it until today anyway. Besides, I’m not exactly a huge fan of V-Day (especially not this year), so I didn’t really feel like typing anything up. I’ll never understand why a holiday that was created to sell candy, flowers, and cards has become such an institution. Wouldn’t it be so much better if people bought those sorts of gifts for their significant… Read the rest

So, remember when I said that I’d received a couple of requests to do interviews for other sites? Well, this entry is meant to direct you to another one that I’ve completed. This time, the site is TotalGadha.com, which provides B-school information, application tips, and test-prep help with a focus on folks in India. Judging from the emails I’ve received, I’m pretty sure that I’ve got a decent following in India, so I thought this site would be especially relevant to that segment of my reader-base.

Just like with the ManagementConsulted.com one, I’ve posted the questions from the interview below… Read the rest

Hey there, peoples. I hope you’re all having a nice weekend so far. This is going to be a relatively short entry, but it’ll direct you to a MUCH longer piece by me. Recently, I’ve received a couple of requests to do interviews for other blog sites and I just completed the first one for ManagementConsulted.com (I’ve mentioned it on here before). It still amazes me that people get something out of this blog, but, for it to have enough impact to warrant interview invites really makes me grin :-D

Some of the interview questions are ones that I’ve answered… Read the rest

Almost exactly a year ago today, I posted an entry to inform you guys about a new blog that my man Jullien from Stanford GSB had started as his way to help people find their purpose in life (Link to that entry). I was initially impressed with Jullien’s blog… Read the rest because he took the approach to actually develop tools to help folks out instead of just responding to emails like me. He’s seriously one of the deepest thinking cats I know and, as a natural entrepreneur, he was destined to come up with MANY ways to affect people’s lives.

[NOTE: I originally started typing this on Sunday night after the Super Bowl, but got caught up on the phone before I finished. I just now wrapped it up, so that's why the intro paragraph seems like it came from a few days ago.]

What’s good, fam. So, I probably should be settling in to get some sleep in preparation for my Monday at work, but I’m still wired from that Super Bowl game. That was seriously one of the most exciting football games I’ve seen in ages. I was pulling for the Cardinals to pull through and shock the… Read the rest

What’s up, folk. This is sort of a “drive-by” entry to let you know about a great new blog that was launched recently. The author of the blog is my man Detavio, who some of my long-time readers may recognize as my roommate for two years at Stanford GSB. Marketing has been one of Detavio’s passions for a while and he’s guided his career in that direction since the GSB, starting off in global marketing at Johnson & Johnson and continuing on to his current position as a Global Account Director at GlobalHue, a global marketing communications agency dedicated to… Read the rest
