Yesterday, I made a post about the passing of Bernie Mac, which really got to me. Now, I’ve just heard about the death of Isaac Hayes…one of the smoothest cats ever to walk this earth. This has been an awful weekend for entertainment overall, but especially for urban entertainment. If you haven’t heard of him, I’m sure that you’ve heard of his most famous contribution to music, The Theme to ‘Shaft’. He also provided the voice for the character of Chef on “South Park”.
