Hello all. I’ve got an email below from a student at Cornell who is considering applying to the schools M.Eng program, but hopes to get an MBA in the future. Sounds similar to the reader whose email I addressed a few days ago, right? Well, this guy has a question about the type of extracurricular activities he should pursue during the rest of his time in college to position himself well for B-school. I like emails like this…short and sweet.
What’s going on, folk. I think I’m setting a recent record for speed in responding to user emails with my third in a few days. The message below is from a medical student who is interested in consulting as a possible path after she finishes med school. Her primary question about what consultants do has already been answered on here before, so I gave her a quickie response to that, but I did address her other questions.

I’d like to start off this entry by wishing everyone affected by the floods in the middle of the U.S. a quick recovery from those events.
