I just found the following article on CNN.com and thought it would be useful to some of you who are ready to start the recruiting process in the near future. You’d be shocked at the number of candidates who go against the basic best practices in their resumes and then wonder why they never get a call-back from an employer. For example, if the email address listed on your resume is “TooCoolForSchool@hotmail.com”, don’t expect for an employer to take you too seriously.
This article is SO REAL:
“Why your resume annoys employers” –
http://www.cnn.com/2007/LIVING/worklife/08/29/cb.resume.irks/index.html
(I was going to copy over the whole article, but then I saw the copyright note on the article and just decided to post the link)
