I know that I’ve already wished people luck on their summer internship search, but I thought I should send a special shout out to people who are interviewing with McK. For the past month, I’ve been staffed on working on Recruiting and I’ve seen how interested the first year MBA students are about the Firm. As a part of my recruiting work, I had the opportunity to go through interviewer training and have started participating in first-round interviews for summer internships, including the set of first rounds at Stanford GSB today. It is SO WILD to be on the other side of the table a short two year after I was sweating bullets as I did my first-round interviews at McKinsey.

Anyway, I wish all of you the best of successes with your McKinsey interviews and, no matter what happens, just remember that you’re a great candidate in some way, so don’t let companies make you feel like you’re shaky in some way (which is the same trap I fell into when I stumbled for an 0-for-OnCampusRrecruiting first-year in business school).
