I’m putting a quick post up here because I just checked out some slides that one of my classmates put up to get people’s attentions about the plight of disadvantaged people around the globe. This classmate is a first year student here and, at age 23, he’s one of the youngest folks at the GSB, but he’s got more passion than anyone I’ve seen in a long time. My lunch appointment with a classmate got pushed back a little, so I’ve actually got some free time during the day to throw in a quick entry. I’m only halfway through my day of classes and I’m already set to go home and take a nap. I just realized that I am getting OLD!!! Instead of doing work this afternoon, I decided to play basketball with my housemates (a.k.a. “The House of Swole”) and that was a big mistake. The past few times I played, my jumper was off and I felt like I was going to pass out from the start, but it was different this time. My jumper was pretty “money” and I felt like my stamina would hold up, but then we played our first 5-on-5 game against a group of five high schoolers. What’s up, y’all. Here I am on another lazy sunday waiting for the Super Bowl to come on in a few hours. It’s weird that the big game comes on at 3pm out here.
