Today is the first day of Fall quarter classes and it is pretty weird being back in the “real deal” GSB courses. It’s great to see all of my classmates again and hear about how everyone’s summers went, but, as my professors go over the work that we’ll have to do in their classes, i can’t help but get freaked out. This is going to be a long and tiring quarter with my classes and the interview process kicking off soon. This actually isn’t the reason I’m writing this message though…

We arrived in Hanoi last night and are in the middle of sightseeing now. We’ve seen a bunch of nice buildings and gardens so far and even visited the resting place of Ho Chi Minh, which lies in a glass encasement and has tours run to see him every day. What’s up, y’all. I’m writing this entry from an internet cafe in Chiang Mai, which is in the northern part of Thailand. We got here yesterday and got the hookup to be staying in yet another really nice hotel…Travis is doing it up so big on the lodging coordination front for this vacation.
